GRP

Also known as: Gross rating point

GRP (Gross Rating Point) is a traditional-media metric equal to reach multiplied by frequency, used to plan and buy TV and radio.

GRP (Gross Rating Point) = Reach (%) × Frequency. It’s how TV and radio campaigns are planned and traded — a schedule is bought to deliver a target number of rating points. One GRP equals 1% of the target audience reached once.
