CPA

CPA (Cost Per Acquisition) is the average cost to gain one customer or conversion from an advertising campaign.

CPA (Cost Per Acquisition) = Ad spend ÷ Conversions. It tells you what each sale or sign-up actually cost. Compare CPA to your profit per customer: if CPA is below it, you profit. CPA depends on your CPC and conversion rate. A close cousin, CPL, measures cost per lead.
