Retargeting

Also known as: Remarketing

Retargeting (remarketing) shows ads to people who already interacted with your business — visited your site, watched a video or engaged with a post.

Retargeting re-engages warm audiences who already know you, which is why it typically converts better and cheaper than cold targeting. Examples: showing an ad to people who added to cart but didn’t buy, or who watched 50% of a video. Combine it with lookalike audiences to scale. It’s a core tactic in the Facebook channel guide.
